Amplifying human potential

One partner across AI strategy, literacy and agents.

Amplify works with organisations to make AI part of how work actually gets done — not a pilot running quietly on the side, and not a slide deck that never becomes delivery. Most AI programmes fail in the same place: the gap between a leadership decision and the desk where the work happens. We were built to close that gap.

That means three things inside one relationship. We help leadership decide where AI belongs and in what order. We bring the organisation up to the fluency that plan assumes, role by role. And we build and run the software and agents that carry the new workflow. Each part stands on its own — but they were designed to be sequenced, because a build deployed onto an untrained team is an expensive pilot, and a training programme with nothing to apply it to is a good day out.

We are platform agnostic, we have put working systems into live operations, and we stay after launch. Everything we deliver is shaped to where your organisation already is, with the people you already have.

Three engagements, told in full.

  1. 01

    Food & beverage

Casual hiring, from phone tree to platform.

    The situation

A multi-outlet restaurant group staffed its floor with casual labour booked outlet by outlet, over phone and chat. Shifts were filled late, the same reliable people were called repeatedly while the rest of the pool went unused, and nobody could see across outlets to know whether the group was short or simply badly distributed.

    1. Strategy

We mapped the shift-fill workflow across every outlet before proposing anything, and found the constraint was visibility, not headcount — the pool was large enough, it was just invisible to the managers who needed it.

    2. Literacy

Outlet managers were trained as the adopters and two operations leads as internal enablers, so the group could change the rostering rules itself rather than raising a ticket every time the business shifted.

    3. Agents

We built a casual-labour application that pools workers across outlets, matches them to open shifts on availability and history, and lets an agent handle the offer-and-confirm loop end to end, escalating only exceptions.

    The result

Shifts fill from one pool instead of many. Managers spend their evenings on the floor rather than on the phone, and the group can see its true staffing position across every outlet in one view.

  2. 02

    Professional services

A recruitment portal that guides the candidate.

    The situation

A recruitment firm was carrying its candidates through search, application and follow-up almost entirely by hand. Good candidates went cold in the gaps between consultant touchpoints, and the consultants who were best at closing were spending most of their week answering the same questions about roles, process and status.

    1. Strategy

We sequenced the roadmap around the candidate journey rather than the internal org chart, and made the first build the part of the funnel where candidates were actually being lost.

    2. Literacy

Consultants were trained to work alongside the assistant — how to read what it had already handled, when to take a conversation back, and how to keep judgement calls with a human.

    3. Agents

We built the recruitment portal and an in-product AI assistant that helps candidates find suitable roles, explains where they are in the process, and guides them through each step conversationally — a virtual assistant alongside the consultant, not instead of one.

    The result

Candidates get an answer at the moment they ask rather than the next working day, and consultants spend their time on the conversations that need a person in them.

  3. 03

    Marine & offshore

A legacy ERP rebuilt, and a quotation desk that can answer.

    The situation

A marine supplier ran its business on a Windows desktop ERP that only worked from the office, and on a parts and pricing database that had grown for two decades. Producing an accurate quotation meant knowing where to look — so quoting was slow, and it was concentrated in the few people who had been there long enough to remember.

    1. Strategy

We planned the migration in usable increments rather than one replacement event, so the business kept quoting throughout, and agreed up front which decisions would stay with a person.

    2. Literacy

The quotation and procurement teams were trained on the new stack and on working with AI-assisted search — specifically on how to check an answer, which is the skill that makes the speed safe to use.

    3. Agents

We rebuilt the desktop ERP as a modern web application and added AI-assisted retrieval across the historical parts and pricing database, so a quotation is drafted with the right items and the right prices found and cited, ready for a human to approve.

    The result

Quotations are produced from anywhere, in a fraction of the time, and no longer depend on the institutional memory of a handful of long-serving staff.
